The best technology solutions in retail: The EHI presents the Retail Technology Award to ROSE Bikes and technology partner ROQQIO becomes Top Supplier Retail.
The scientific retail institute, EHI, together with an international jury, honored companies with the best ideas for retail technologies. As a technology partner of ROSE Bikes, we received the "Top Supplier Retail" award. The Retail Technology Awards Europe (reta) will be presented for the 14th time this year. The individual projects will be presented online on March 15th as part of the EHI Innovation Days.
Best Connected Retail Solution Category
Together with our customer ROSE Bikes, we applied for the reta award in the “Best Connected Retail Solution” category. At ROSE Bikes, the vertical performance and lifestyle bike brand from Bocholt, the focus is on expanding the online shop into a sales platform. For example, selected accessories and special bicycles from other brands and manufacturers are to be offered on the platform. The further development of ROSE as an "online-first" omnichannel provider brings with it special challenges and complex processes: As an omnichannel retailer, ROSE is not only driving forward the merger of its online and offline channels and strengthening its own brand, but is also opening up also its ecosystem for other manufacturers and suppliers that need to be integrated into the platform. ROSE Bikes is supported by our fully integrated omnichannel solution, which enables a channel-independent, seamless customer journey.
International competition
In addition to the “Best Connected Retail Solution” category, in which the sports company INTERSPORT also received the reta award with a solution for the French market, as well as the Danish Salling Group, a large operator of supermarkets, the international jury awarded honors in other categories. Winners were also determined for the "Best Instore Solution", the "Best Enterprise Solution" and for the first time also for the "Best AI & Robotics Application". Retail companies from all over the world could apply. Both the degree of innovation and the strategic benefit of the respective technology project were evaluated. The service companies involved in the winning projects each received the “Top Supplier Retail 2021” award. You can find out what the special achievements and innovations for retail technology were at the Zoom online event of the EHI on March 15th. From 2 p.m. CET, the winners will present their solutions.
