Representing the entire industry, the jury of the German Retail Association (HDE) awarded the Retail Prize to retailers who stood out during the pandemic with "special campaigns and measures". One of the three award-winning retailers who received the "Enterprise Award" from the HDE is a long-standing ROQQIO customer, the Männer-Mode-Haus WAHL in Ertingen.
The fashion house, managed in the third generation by Markus and Brigitte Wahl, was the first company from Baden-Württemberg to be recognized by the German trade association HDE in Berlin for breaking new ground during the pandemic. The managing directors also expressly want to “encourage all those who had to go through a lot during the difficult time and whose existence was or is at stake.”
The couple Markus Brigitte Wahl sells selected fashion brands on 1000 square meters, supported by style and fashion consultants, advertises with customer newsletters and, for example, Facebook and Instagram accounts. There are online services such as video advice, appointments for convenient shopping, or business code coaching. The Männer-Mode-Haus WAHL has also started a project in which it plants trees for non-returned orders in order to reforest forest areas.
