Fashion house Begro and Intersport Begro: ROQQIO is the ideal partner

The latest POS software from ROQQIO is running at 12 locations and 35 cash registers at the Marburg group of companies Begro&Krug, to which Intersport Begro also belongs. The upgrade was completed within a few hours. The long-established company praises the once again good cooperation.

The Marburg group of companies Begro und Krug has been a customer of ROQQIO Bad Hersfeld for nine years. At the beginning of September, Begro was upgraded from ROQQIO Suite 7 to the latest ROQQIO Suite 9 in just five hours. The entire process of upgrading to the latest software version took just five hours, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All follow-up work was completed by 11:30 p.m. and the retail system with its 35 checkout systems has been in use for customers again since then. "In ROQQIO Bad Hersfeld, we have a partner that we can always rely on, even in time-critical situations, and that looks in the same direction as we do," says Sabrina Müller (pictured), assistant to the management of the Marburg company, with conviction.

The dedicated employee of the group of companies is not only satisfied with the latest upgrade. ROQQIO "made the impossible possible" with the VAT reductions in a very short time, reports Sabrina Müller. "With currently 12 locations and a total of almost 35 cash registers across our three clients, programming the VAT reduction at the cash registers was not exactly easy. In addition, the time frame that the federal government gave the retailers for the implementation was more than tight.” She was all the more pleased that a call to Bad Hersfeld was enough to immediately look for a solution together the marketing campaigns already running at the tills should also be taken into account.

 

Ready to go on the deadline

After we had collected the first receipt at the cash register on July 1 and could see the result "live", a big load fell off my heart: everything works and both the employees at the cash register and the customers are satisfied".

 

Sabrina Müller, who also focuses on supply chain management, is convinced that the intensive cooperation with ROQQIO has led to a system that optimally corresponds to the Begro-specific processes and structures. Müller: "Due to this flexibility and the opportunity to be able to develop individual processes as a customer, we have found our ideal partner for everything to do with POS and merchandise management in ROQQIO Bad Hersfeld."

The Begro & Krug group of companies includes the Begro fashion house based in Marburg and the branches of INTERSPORT Begro, as well as Robert Krug GmbH & Co. KG with the Krug fashion houses in the Marburg hinterland. It employs over 400 people on a total sales area of over 13,000 m².
