The e-commerce company Shoes24 enables customers to buy shoes and fashion online from local retailers. With a connection to the online sales portals Shoes24, Outfits24 and Sportmarken24, regional retailers can offer their goods there even if they do not have their own web shop and benefit from online trading in the short term. The software company ROQQIO offers an uncomplicated networking of its merchandise management system with the shoes24 portals. The product data is easily transferred from the retailer's merchandise management system to the Internet platform with just a few clicks - online sales can start right away.
Fashion and lifestyle expert Pier14 has been relying on ROQQIO solutions for years and is now using the advantages of the interface. “We had already planned our own online shop for the end of the year before the crisis, and we will continue to follow our carefully planned strategy here. In the short term, however, the connection to the Outfits24 platform already gives us access to online trading,” says Stefan Richter, Managing Director of Pier14. Retailers can gain initial experience in online business with simple functions and use them to their advantage in the future: “We can use a tool to filter which products are displayed based on their price, for example. This way we can easily keep control of our own offer.” Retailers also benefit from the short-term implementation of this sales channel compared to their own web shop, from the low technical effort and from the manageable costs.
In order to provide even more support for small, regional retailers during the crisis,schuhe24 reduced the fees for inexpensive items by the end of May and is also paying them out more quickly.
